CPU Tests

The CPU tests are designed to scale well with CPU frequency increases. They give an indication that a CPU is allowed to work correctly on a given mainboard, the CPU being constant. Kribibench is first.

Kribibench v1.1

A impressive benchmark margin of error when comparing the FN95 and the KV2. In the real world, in a Kribi-style renderer, it'd be impossible to split them apart. The Socket 940 system lags behind, and the graph shows that the memory subsystem performance on the FN95 and KV2 is very very similar.

LAME MP3 Encoding

We're CPU-bound here, the KV2 just the right side of the 165/166 second divide.

Realstorm

Realstorm is a real-time raytracer, executed entirely on the CPU without any GPU assistance.

The KV2 is half a frame per second faster than the FN95, itself faster than the SK8V.
