Windows 10 or the Z170 chipset seem to be holding back USB and SATA speeds, by around 10 per cent or so, compared to what we observed previously with Z97 and Windows 8.1. M.2 performance, on the other hand, improves nicely for both Z170 boards suggesting benefits for PCIe storage on Z170.
