Intel's Bearlake series of motherboards vie for the worst-kept-secret award.

The official NDA expiry for the P35 Bearlake chipset is today. We can now publish numbers on a chipset that we saw liberally paraded at this year's CeBIT show in March.

We'll answer such pressing questions as whether it's a worthy upgrade from incumbent P965, how it compares to NVIDIA's nForce 680i SLI and 680i LT, and the meaning of life (OK, not the last one).

Foxconn duly delivered its P35A to us for testing, and we spill the beans on the following pages.
