Presentation, Bundle and Manual

As our board on test today is an engineering sample, the packaging and bundle may not be what you see on retail shelves, but we'll give it a quick once-over anyway.

Nothing too exciting on the front, but then again, it's all about what's inside the box at the end of the day. The rear of the package offers an RMA handling voucher in case of a fault with the board and mentioning their Platinum Service for RMAs. It's always nice to see a manufacturer putting some time and effort into their returns policy and commitments, there's nothing worse than being without working hardware for a long period of time.

Aside from the motherboard, our package contained an unofficial driver CD (In other words just the drivers required, no bundled software which may make it into the final retail product), back plate, one Serial ATA cable and an ATA and floppy cable - In other words, all the basics to at least get a working system together.

Our sample board also came with no final manual, so we'll skip over taking a proper look at that. What we did see seemed to offer all the basic information you might need however.
