Crunching wave files into 192kb/s MP3 is fast on all combinations. ASUS' artificially-induced clock speed advantage gives it the nod over a 3800MHz-clocked reference board.



Perhaps that's the reason why it's also faster in KribiBench.



A 3.8GHz Pentium 4 Prescott and ASUS925XE make short work of our XviD encoding test. Indeed, it's the fastest stock time we've seen thus far.



Raytracing remains the domain of AMD Athlon 64s. Notice how the ASUS continues to stay that little bit ahead of a reference Intel model.
