Uniformity and Efficiency

Colour uniformity

We alluded to less-then-perfect uniformity earlier in the review, and here's the proof. It isn't drastic by any means, and we didn't notice it during regular use, but strictly speaking there is a bit of variation toward the bottom of the panel.

Luminance uniformity

Luminance uniformity is rather good, mind, with less than 10 per cent variance across the display.

Planning on revamping the office with half-a-dozen X24P1 monitors? Don't worry too much about power consumption, as AOC's panel is the most frugal in our charts. If you really want to look after the environment and your employees, you'll find an auto-off timer, a selection of eco-friendly settings, a low-blue mode to help reduce eye strain, and an optional break reminder that encourages users to stretch their legs from time to time.
