For the sake of consistency in our tests, the Predator X27 was benchmarked in SDR with its variable backlight feature turned off. The panel can technically achieve over 1,000 nits in HDR for small areas of the screen, but even during regular use, the display is plenty bright and blessed with inky blacks and impressive contrast.
