Uniformity and Efficiency

Colour uniformity

We consider a colour variance of less than five to be very good. Considering its size and wide aspect ratio, the MSI Optix MPG341CQR does very well in this regard.

Luminance uniformity

Luminance uniformity, however, isn't the best, with up to a 15 per cent difference toward the sides. Enough to be noticeable during everyday use? Arguably not. Enough to be an irritation at £870? Possibly.

Energy usage can be a cause for alarm on large HDR displays, but the Optix's limited peak brightness is reflected in reasonably frugal power consumption. Nothing to worry about here.
