Uniformity and Power Consumption

Colour uniformity

Uniformity will inevitably vary from one sample to the next. Our review unit fares well in this regard, with the GB3461WQSU keeping colour variance below five throughout the ultrawide panel.

Luminance uniformity

We typically look for a luminance difference of less than 10 per cent. iiyama falls just short of that mark to the left and right sides, which might help explain why colours appear a tad muted toward the outer edges.

The comparison 43in Philips isn't only the brightest monitor we've ever tested, it is also by far the thirstiest. iiyama's G-Master is relatively frugal, and a peak 48 watts at 100 per cent brightness is in keeping with our expectations of a 34in UWQHD solution.
