Uniformity and Power Consumption
Colour uniformity
Uniformity can be a challenge on larger panels, so we're pleasantly surprised to see the 49in mega-wide maintain decent consistency at default brightness levels.
Luminance uniformity
There is a hotspot toward the bottom-right of our review unit, yet the AOC keeps within our preferred maximum of 10 per cent luminance variation.
Given the sheer size of the display, power consumption isn't bothersome, either, peaking at 81 watts with brightness cranked up to maximum.
