Real-world Tests
The real-world benefits are far less impressive. Though topping the charts in three of the four tests, the performance uplift is neither here nor there for most people.
Trouble is, a 16GB (2x8GB) pack of DDR4-2933 - which is only marginally slower with a Ryzen 7 2700 clocked to an all-core 4GHz - is readily available for £165 or so. Would that £50 saving be better purposed elsewhere in the system?
