Benchmarks I

We're using our standard Core i7-8700K platform for testing, overclocked to an all-core 4.8GHz to better reflect an enthusiast's system. As a comparison, and to see any differences from running faster memory, we've also benchmarked a 16GB kit (2x8GB) of Team Group's RGB memory running at 3,600MHz with 18-20-20-44-2T timings. Secondly, we have also included a 16GB (2x8GB) of Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-2,667 memory equipped with standard 16-16-16-38-2T timings.

Bandwidth always scales well with increases in frequency. However, latency is arguably just as important, and the tighter timings of the G.Skill pack makes up for the pure frequency deficit when compared to Team Group.
