Benchmarks II

The salient truth is that on a processor such as the Core i7-8700K it doesn't really matter what memory you use - we guess you need to go for something like DDR4-3600 and CL14-14-14-34-1T timings to see a real difference.

So how about overclocking? Using Samsung's B-Die is always advantageous. Keeping to the 17-18-18-38 timings and increasing voltage to 1.4V, we managed to run the modules at 3,800MHz. Going the other way, to 14-14-14-34, the RGB set happily ran at 3,400MHz.

We've said that the RGB implementation should be better, but we have no complaints over the use of Samsung chips.
