Gaming Tests

Switching gears to gaming, some benchmarks really like faster memory - World of Tanks, F1 - and others show a marginal improvement.

Thinking about premium, fast memory another way, it can provide the same leap in gaming performance as at least the next processor up. Considered in that context, it may well be a premium worth paying. In this case, with nothing better than a Ryzen 7 2700X on the AM4 platform, super-fast memory serves as the last bit of potential realised.
