Notes

We're choosing to compare these modules to the 32GB G.Skill Trident Z DDR4-3200 CL14 that have been the bedrock of our last two test systems. We use them because they exhibit a fine balance between speed, capacity and latency.

As we spoke about cheaper DDR4-3200 sets on the previous page, it also makes sense to see how such a pack stacks up against this cutting-edge G.Skill, and we have a 16GB offering from Corsair, priced at around £90, on the shelf.

For what it's worth, we managed to run the sample pack at 3,733MHz with the same tight timings. Loosening them doesn't offer much scope for higher headroom, suggesting they're tuned for this particular sweet spot.
