OK, this is interesting. We ran the test five times and also rebooted between three runs, just to make sure the numbers were consistent and not being cached. The upshot is that, according to SiSoft Sandra's memory-bandwidth test, the Viper 3 produces more bandwidth than a 2,400MHz-rated pack that we tested directly afterwards.

Latency is reasonable, too.

And following on from the stellar bandwidth results, the cache bandwidth is also better than the two competing modules'.
