Bags of bandwidth is the hallmark of quality DDR3-2,133 memory, and there's nothing wrong with the XPG's performance here.

Sabotage the PC by removing a module and memory bandwidth almost halves, which is what one would expect.

Latency is good in either single- or dual-channel mode, however.

And the ADATA pair of modules produce class-leading performance in the cache analysis.

There is a real, honest-to-goodness performance deficit when taking a stick away, somewhat to our surprise, and while the actual speed of dual-channel memory doesn't seem to matter all that much, it's clear that Ivy Bridge chips absolutely prefer a dual-module setup.
