Yet, on a modern processor such as an overclocked Core i7-6700K, having oodles more bandwidth doesn't really offer great opportunity for enhanced performance; the on-chip cache is usually large enough to contain the required datasets.
Sure, the G.Skill is faster, though a sub-five-per cent increase is not readily noticeable.
