Benchmarks: Power and Noise

We've noticed that all NAS units tested with 8TB Seagate IronWolf hard disks seem to show higher power consumption under load compared to earlier units tested with 4TB WD Reds. Standby power consumption after the drives have gone to sleep is nonetheless excellent; however five mechanical disks and two fans ensure that the DS1019+ is clearly audible when in use.
