We're now focussing on the Battlefield 3 trace and looking at the total access time during each phase. Again, we want this to be as low as possible. Both drives are pretty good here.
Separating the wheat from the chaff, the total per-run access write time should be consistent if the drive is good. The Samsung clearly is, as expected, but a consumer drive only puts in a good showing when, typically, it is allowed to recover.
