Core i9-7900X is without a doubt a potent all-rounder. Intel's IPC throughput ensures solid performance in single-threaded workloads, and the 10-core, 20-thread design is very useful in multi-threaded workloads. Scan's 4.6GHz overclock is healthy across all cores, yet the 7900X feels like just a taste of what's to come. We're itching to add Threadripper systems to the line-up, and remember that Intel's own 18-core beastie launches in a little over a month.
