Benchmarks: Temperature
Scan's custom liquid-cooling loop is working really, really well. The Core i9 processor is known to run hot, particularly when overclocked, but an average temperature of 79ºC under full load is perfectly acceptable and the chip didn't throttle during any of our benchmarks.
What's more impressive is the Titan Xp, which kept to a relatively cold 56ºC when gaming, despite core frequency racing past 2,000MHz. This level of cooling makes a whole lot of sense on ultra-high-end hardware, and also shows how inadequate the reference air cooler is.
