Notes

As this is our first workstation review in a while, we have decided to compare the Scan's performance against our standard test machine featuring an overclocked Core i7-6700K and reference-clocked Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition.

We expect the Scan machine to trounce the HEXUS test system in the CPU-centric tests, due to more lots more cores and threads, yet the GPU analysis is more interesting. The Quadro P4000 ought to be no match for the GTX 1080 Ti FE in regular GPU benchmarks, but given how optimised the Quadro drivers are for professional applications, the results may come as a surprise.
