It is common knowledge that AMD Ryzen is strong when it comes to multi-threaded workloads and off the pace in terms of raw frequency. This is emphasised in gaming rigs where Intel machines are typically overclocked across all cores at speeds of up to 5GHz; the two Ryzen systems in our graphs simply can't get close in single-threaded PiFast.

But the tables are turned when all cores are put to work. Cinebench has the Cyberpower Ultra 7 GTX slotting into second place, where it is beaten only by a Core i9 machine priced at a whopping £4,000. Ryzen 7 2700X enables tremendous multi-core performance for under £1,400.
