We've already seen how GeForce GTX 1660 Ti performs on an Intel Core i7-8700K processor, and now we get to see how it fares alongside an AMD Ryzen 5 2600. Cross-comparing results reveals that there's hardly anything in it, particularly at a QHD resolution, where the in-game numbers are practically identical.
This is ultimately a fine rig for high-quality PC gaming, and now that Nvidia cards support AMD FreeSync, it's easy to pick up an affordable QHD monitor with adaptive framerate tech. We've not had the opportunity to try it ourselves, but we'd be intrigued to see the 3XS Gamer 1660 Ti paired with, say, the £200 AOC Q3279VWFD8.
