PCMark 10 tends to favour Intel platforms, but when viewing the chart it's important to keep costs in perspective. PC Specialist's Ryzen-powered rig has landed in fourth spot, but the three systems that lead the way - Corsair One i160, Scan 3XS Vengeance RTX Ti and Scan 3XS Vengeance Hydro X - came to retail priced at £3,400, £3,400 and £3,800, respectively.

GPU performance is less mighty, with the RTX 2060 Super slotting in near the middle of the 3DMark chart, and the Stress Test suggests the Zotac cooler isn't the best when it comes to consistency. But as the next page will show, you don't need to top all the charts in order to achieve a high-quality gaming experience.
