Such is the power of the GPU that bottlenecks can exist elsewhere. At 1080p, the RTX 3080 is prevented from reaching its full potential on account of the mid-range Ryzen CPU. Note that Tomb Raider is exhibiting the same behaviour as our standalone RTX 3080 reviews, whereby the minimum GPU framerate is reported as considerably higher than the game average.
