Benchmarks: Vitals
As always, the graphed number depicts an average from the last five minutes of the Blender benchmark. 75°C seems an admirable return, but of course this is after the CPU has dialled back to comfortable levels; temperatures do in fact peak at 100°C shortly after the benchmark begins.
System-wide power consumption is well within the limits of the 650W supply, and given the size of the system, we're satisfied by the acoustic profile. All chassis and GPU fans switch off entirely at low load, making the NUC practically silent, and though noise output is obvious when gaming, the fans create a smooth hum that isn't overly distracting. A marked improvement over another mini PC in our charts, Zotac's Zbox Magnus One.
