Benchmarks - power-draw

With all manner of Intel and motherboard power-saving technologies active in the BIOS, plus the use of a single graphics card, the Wired2Fire system has an enviable power-draw figure when idling. This is important because, contrary to what you may think, most PCs while away the hours in this state.

A pre-overclocked Core i5 2500K is still a pretty frugal chip, really.

And AMD's Radeon HD 6970 2GB isn't too offensive on the power-meter when running gaming at full tilt, either. Knowing what we do about the GPU, Corsair's 600W PSU is stout enough to take in a second card without issue.
