The Computer Planet ND 4000 doesn't provide the sort of wow-factor you'd expect from a machine that costs almost £1,000, but as the old saying goes, it does exactly what it says on the tin.

If your current system has experienced a meltdown and you need a configurable high-performance replacement delivered to your door the very next day, Computer Planet has the answer. It's an admittedly rare scenario, but the ND 4000 will arrive swiftly and can do so with your choice of memory, storage device and graphics card, among other components.

We'd like to see an option for a CPU overclock - and indeed other CPU choices - and we remain adamant an SSD should be included as standard, but the default £950 configuration represents a solid if not exceptional build. There are more involved options available if you're willing to wait, but if you absolutely can't continue another day, Computer Planet will promptly deliver a performance machine that's ready for action.
