3DMark 2001SE, SS2, C4

Gaming begins with a look at 3DMark 2001SE b330. A Radeon 9800 Pro compliments the other high-powered components here.

Two things to note here. Firstly it's the 700-odd mark increase from the SB65G2's benchmark. It's solely down to a BIOS that focuses more on performance. The other interesting aspect is the score obtained by the onboard graphics. Previous boards / SFF systems featuring the Extreme 2 graphics have returned results around the 3100 mark. The 500-mark increase can be attributed to the lower latencies of system memory, as it's from here that the integrated graphics steal their bandwidth.

A breakdown of the DigiDice's default benchmark can be found here

Faster than the SB65G2 and slower than the SN85G4 seems to be the theme in gaming benchmarks.

Comanche 4 requires hardware transform and lighting. That's why the onboard graphics cannot run the test. Decent performance from ABIT's SFF again.
