Most SSDs are quick, but dayum, the new breed of PCIe solutions are something else. Samsung's 512GB SM951 offers good capacity, fits neatly on a motherboard, makes no noise, and is mind-bogglingly fast. Read and write speeds in excess of 1,500MB/s for a single drive without any RAID shenanigans is very tasty indeed.
