If Z170 is your high-end platform of choice, the Intel Core i7-6700K is as good as it gets. PC Specialist's 4.6GHz overclock is rock solid and performance is understandably excellent. The only way you'll go faster in multi-threaded scenarios is by switching to X99 and a larger chip carrying six or more cores.
