-No Contact Phone Numbers -Can take upto a week to respond to emails, quickest ive seen is at least 3 days, since they went \'.com\' -Online ordering system is full of bugs -Errors occur frequently with stock allocation problems -Faulty items are not tested properly -Dabs has personally mischarged my card on many occasions, sometimes taking out double the amount or making unauthorised debits -They take no responsibility for their mistakes and the consequences, including unauthorised illegal charges to debit cards. I warn everyone who reads this...do not deal with this company if you are not prepared to accept the above. I\'ve had to deal with dabs for years, and my overall dealings with them can only be described as a nightmare. For the people here who have done the odd order and have had no trouble, i can understand why they put good ratings...but they are the lucky ones, from my experience of dabs making many many mistakes over many dozens of orders over the years, literally running with my money for weeks before rectifying their errors, without anyform of compensation, or appology, or hell any response at all, all i can say is that this company is to be avoided at all costs, unless you like taking risks with your money. The time, trouble and MONEY this company has cost me is second to none.

I've bought many an item from dabs in the past including PCI modems PCI NIC's Archos Jukebox Recorder 20 mp3 player (first people to have it in the uk, and for the best price!) Lots and Lots of Hard drives. I'll certianly be buying from them again.

Fantastic people to buy from, low prices, fast delivery and friendly customer care people. I was amazed when I had to send something back to them and they arranged to have it picked up at my convenience at no cost to me, they even provided a lable to print out to stick on the item for returning it, the easiest rma I've ever had to do, and they refunded in full - even the opriginal delivery cost. :)

Used Dabs a number of times with varying degrees of satisfaction over the years. They were one of my favourite retailers for several years, but over the past 2 years have gone down hill dramatically - the fact it is now virtually imposible to talk to a customer service rep, and two 90 minute phone calls (one of which had me as 2 in the queue for 30 minutes), have made me very wary of using them again.

Bought alot of stuff from dabs previously (+3k's worth at least), i stopped along time ago though due to bad experiences, like they started to consistently screw up orders, they'd sort them out but it just got plain annoying, order after order. Ive noticed that their prices seem to be going up too, dabs used to be the cheapest retailer around! Whats this with their "new" spanking website too!? Looks naff, and is terrible for navigating or browsing items! Their old design won an award for the reason that it was good... why did they have to screw it up all of a sudden!? WTF ARE YOU DOING DABS! I USED TO LIKE YOU! sort yourself out.

Bought a 2500+XP Barton and a Thermaltake Volcano 11+ from Dabs and it was an extremely smooth process. I had initially placed an order with CPU City but discovered that they don't ship to Northern Ireland. No problem for Dabs! No stupid courier surcharges to ship to NI and got here sharpish! Happy Camper with my Barton! :cool:

Well where do i start i ordered a 19\" Mitsubishi diamondtron from them and sunsequently received an e-mail the next day saying your order is complete and it has been shipped, normal fast efficient service i thougt as i have used dabs for 3 years with no problem, it should have arrived the next day but didn\'t i then called up parcelforce who told me that it had not been collected by them and so they were unable to dliver it contact dabs so i e-mailed dabs explaining the problem and then i waited and waited and waited, FOUR days later i got a response from there customer service team saying they have definetly shipped it contact parcelforce and ask them to put a trace on it so i duely complied and parcel force were very helpful they took my details and said we\'ll be in touch and 1 hour later got a call back saying it has definetly not been picked up and was given a refrence number to pass on to dabs so they could also confirm this and so i e-mailed them again with this new information and again i waited this time only THREE days and the response was very short and sweet \"we canot track this parcel, do you want a refund or replacement\" i obviously went for refund. And i also have to say the e-mail was very rude not even a hello or a sorry about your trouble just those two lines very dissapointed after 3 years of no problems i will not be shopping with dabs again

(I\'ve been building PCs since 1991/1992 and I consider my knowledge to be extensive to say the least.) I purchased a whole slew of components on and off from Dabs between 1997 and 2001. Delivery was usually smooth and fast and I had very few problems. They do often charge extra charges for small orders and small items. I had instances of items arriving in bad condition (e.g. a dud MP3 player and a RAM chip that had broken off component). Regarding their technical support, it takes a long time to get through (the amount of money I\'ve spent on phone calls would probably buy a decent CPU). My worst experience with them was with some Crucial RAM that failed after 6 months of normal use. I was told to send it back, did so, and I received neither acknowledgement or a replacement. At the end of that month (some weeks later) I discovered a credit on my bank account for the amount that the RAM originally cost. What had happened? They had refunded the RAM cost rather than replace it because the RAM price had gone up since my original purchase. What bothered me most about this was that they left me hanging with no advisement of their course of action. Since that happened I have refused to buy from them and I have no intention to buy from them in the future. I keep an eye on their prices and they aren\'t the cheapest around anyway.

Good prices, very good delivery (though now pricier) and in the past great customer service. Not such good service any more but still a top notch supplier. I've bought LOADS off them over the years and had VERY few problems which have all been sorted out very quickly. Great range of products and a nice new site design.

Among other orders, I bought a motherboard from dabs which was DOA. I filled out an RMA form, arranged for a courier to pick it up and printed the label they gave me, all via their website. The courier arrived on time, and while it took a few weeks to get the replacement (they had to order a replacement from the manufacturer since it wasn't a common part), it arrived in working order. Very impressed with how smoothly it was handled.

Order went through well, no problems, e-mail information and everything else was fine. Though I managed to blow the processor (whoops) and got an RMA quickly and sent it off without hassle, but it took them nearly 5 weeks for them to send me a new one, which was quite a letdown.

Bought about £100 of items from them last year. After waiting more than a week for a delivery and calling them several times i was told it was dispatched and signed for. I called parcel force and they confirmed it hadnt been delivered. What had happened is Parcel force couldnt find my house so they returned the items which were booked into stock and a small fee taken from my card. In all this not once did they think to call me or email me. After nearly two weeks i got to the bottom of it, i would never bother looking at there site let alone buying from them again. Parcel force sent me £20 as a sorry.

I've placed £1,000s worth of orders with Dabs over the years (for me, work and building up systems for family and friends). Never had any real problems. They can be slow on getting stock in but once it's with them they've always had a good service and a good turn around. Never had anything DOA from Dabs so can't really comment on their RMA service.

Dabs was the first online store i bought anything from, i recieved all items within 3 days of ordering (which i found very impressive at the time ! :) ), i've recived items the next day since, even when ordering after 4pm, which is VERY impressive! (didn't request a faster service) however, in my first order, my graphics card was faulty, they kept blaming me at first and would not accept it back for a test to see if it was working or not. after a few phone calls, they eventually accepted it back, and sent me a replacement (this was back in 2001 btw) all in all a decent firm/
