Have bought numerous things from Aria over the years, starting with a full custom build PC and the latest a mobo and various network cabling stuff. The PC is still in use to this day. The only slight problems with it (and this is 3 years ago, mind) were a slightly hot CPU, possibly due to the thermal paste used, though at least it was paste and not a pad. They also wouldn't ship with the HSF originally chosen incase of damage due to shipping. They emailed me to confirm this though, and all was sorted out pretty quick. Last stuff I bought was an MSI mobo. Customer service for this was great - they sold out minutes before I wanted to purchse the thing, with most site's I'd have to find somewhere else, with Aria I just asked on their message board and they replied within a few hours that they'd already ordered more stock and it'd be in soon. I've never had a problem with any order, everything's worked fine. Also means I've never had to RMA, so the rating for that is just an average of my others. Shipping is the usual online deal. Aria are one of the few who offer cheaper Royal Mail delivery for smaller items, but the big stuff is always gonna cost. Aria use CityLink and as usual if you buy on Friday don't expect anything to turn up until Tuesday as no couriers ever seem to work at weekends. I'll be a happy man when people come to their senses and start using RM for more stuff with their saturday delivery. Anyways... Packaging has always been fine. Not really a complaint but the mobo/network stuff was sent purley in bubble wrap and a plastic courier bag. Maybe a cardboard box would've been better for that kinda stuff but it was fine. Price wise, they seem to have some of the better prices on the web, if not the best. They've got the usual range of products in, though more range than others and some rareish stuff too. They'll never have everything but they've got more than a lot of places do. Website is pretty good. A bit complicated to navigate, and their list of products in various sections is split accross numerous pages so you never really know if they really haven't got something or you just haven't found it yet. And their search tool hasn't always given as promising a result as it probably should. But they are one of the few with active comments right underneath the product listings, and active forum, and plenty of product details (inc. relatively accurate stock counter). I'll deffinately have no problems buying from aria in the future.

Not bad prices but factoring in the long delivery times and costs, other sites have better prices if less choice. Not perfect but they have some amazing offers :)

I ordered some components from their website on Wednesday 12th April. All the items were shown as in stock, available for next day delivery. All that happened the next day was they debited my credit card the full amount. Nine days later, I'm still waiting for delivery. I have telephoned three times, cannot get through to customer service. No response to any of my messages, except one from Sales who were no help at all, saying I must speak to Customer Service!!! :worried: Now writing to credit card company to try for a refund. Ordered the same items from MicroDirect at 5pm yesterday, and they've been delivered this morning.

i have used Aria a few times, and while they do have some good bargains, the returns procedure is horrendous, with an extremely slow turn around. the postage is also extortionate.

Being a computer builder by profession, I've always needed a reliable supplier to deliver the correct amount of parts in a quick timeframe. I have used the range in the 12 years I have been doing the job, including Ebuyer, Scan and Microdirect. But Aria has proved to be the most reliable and that is the reason I have used them constantly over the last 6 years. They handle bulk orders incredibly well and sales always treat me in a friendly manner. The very few problems I've had have been resolved within 24 hours and have not lost me any custom. I will continue to use Aria and thank them for 6 years great service.

The initial delivery was quick, next day infact. I bought 2 laptop hard drives. One was DOA, so filled in RMA online and sent it back. 2 months went by and after a few emails and a phone call the drive eventually showed up and worked. Aria are great at online sales, but their customer care has knocked my confidence in them a bit. Have bought loads of stuff from them before and its all been fine and great. Just this time was a big set back.

I\'ve ordered a couple of times over the last month from aria , the first time I bought a very cheap dell lcd for a client that went fine. The second time I ordered one for myself and when it turned up the stand was not completed in production. I hadn\'t read the feedback for aria before then and I was quite frankly worried after reading the posts below. However I was wrong, I sent a rma request with a query as to whether I could just get a replacement stand instead of sending the whole thing back. This was on friday morning. 2-3hrs later I had a call from a nice friendly person saying they had a spare stand and would send it out that day for me. And to give the old one to the courier and they would pay for the postage. I was very surprised thats great service. The stand arrived today and its perfect. I was very impressed by them.

This Company is what I describe as poor, there customer services are a joke, If you want to call them expect to be on hold (que) for at least 40mins, I even remember speaking to a salesman called howard who \"jokingly\" said oh dont worry your lucky most people wait a lot longer and then laughed. This is terrible customer service, these guys should take not of ebuyer, Scan, and my fovourits \"Microdirect\" one the best customer services I have used was Scan computers, I spoke to a lovely lady there by the name of Roxane - she was fantastic and sorted my issues out straight away. - Aria? you should take a leaf out of these other company\'s book. Complete and utter joke! You are over priced, your website is outdated, your product information is either not there or very poor. I am suprised you are still in business. no wonder the manchester branch closed down.

Have spent thousands of pounds with Aria over the years and in the early days they were second to none. However I\'ve noticed over recent months the experience is rapidly dwindling down - orders constantly out of stock and delays in sending out, plus their shipping charges on large orders could be better. Never had a faulty product, though, which is some positive news - but their product selection (particularly what they stock) is getting worse. Prices are good, though, which is all that keeps me going their to be honest. Generally packaging is good although occassionally one inappropriately packed CPU or HDD sneaks through. Customer service is average, on the basis they they\'re always very busy so it tends to be a little inpersonal - but you can hardly blame them. If they just were to improve their stock situation or at least allow the possibility to part ship, or cancel an order online, it wouldn\'t be so bad.

Although prices are good value for money, the product i bought was poorly packaged and the RMA process takes ages, with initially poor communication, through cserv email addy, but once someone responded with personalised email, communication was fine.

Bought fairly regularly from Aria as it was close to work so I could go pick the bits up myself. Spent a few hundred of work's money until one day I bought a 256Mb stick of ram. It was dead when I installed it. Took it back and they refused to refund (this was back when memory was easily the cheapest part of a PC and I believe it cost me something like 30 quid). The attitude of the staff was so bad I swore never to go there again and they lost the custom of our entire office over 1 stick of ram. Won't buy again.

Bought a motherboard cpu, and ram form Aria some months ago and cpu was DoA. Returns service and original delivery was very efficient. However they claimed the core on the CPU was craked upon testing and claimed user error. I've built nearing 50 systems in my time and know how to fit a heatsink! Wanted to charge me for returning the non-dead bits of kit but eventually got them to refund the price of the ram and motherboard although they refused to refund the cpu. They claim to test every CPU before it leaves - although how they can do this without installing a heatsink and thereby introduce the possibility that they bust it is beyond me. Good customer service would have been to issue a replacement. Sadly this didn't happen and the thousands of pounds I have since spent on kit has been spent elsewhere.
