I have used Dabs for about 3-4 years. In that time, I have spent in the region of Â£500,000 with them. The quality of their operation is awe-inspiring. I own a warehouse and ship goods myself and I wish my operation was half as good as these guys.
I ordered a DFI mobo from them at 10pm last night (using my personal account, not my corporate one), it was shipped at midnight and it was on my doorstep at 9.30am this morning. That\'s less than 12 hours and this was using their standard delivery (Â£5 I think?). But this has happened time and time again!
I have experienced two problems since I started using Dabs - a DOA HP system and a Netgear switch that died a month after we got it. Kelly Fletcher, a DABS CSR gave us an RMA within 5 minutes and both units were replaced within 48 hours.
Keep it up guys.
I\'ve used these guys a fair few times, but not recently.
I ordered about Â£350 worth of kit, they said they had shipped. Alarm bells started ringing when they refused to give me a CityLink tracking number when requested claiming it would lead to their courier costs rising (yeah... really..) and that they would track it on my behalf. I asked them to do so - they didn\'t.
I told them if the shipment didn\'t arrive today then I would be refusing delivery at the door. Then they cancelled my order and refunded my card.
How very trusting of them to do that when the goods were with the courier and on their way to me? Unless.. of course... they made that bit up and didn\'t ship the day they said they had. Which seeing as a courier has yet to knock on my door, I can only assume that is the case.
Then a very unhelpful chap called Steve asserted I probably shouldn\'t buy things online if I expected quick delivery.
This company has gone downhill in the past 12 months. Prices seem to have risen - they are certainly not the cheapest out there by a long way. And to add insult, the service has taken a nosedive.
Avoid and take your business elsewhere.
