I have a thing that takes a AA battery as my emergency charger. Tiny and was only a couple of quid on fleabay.
But one AA battery is only capable of 1.5V, how does that adequately substitute a 5V USB port? Must be at least 3 of them in there?!

I have a pebble - nice 5000m/ah battery, loads of tips etc. £20 on offer, means I'm covered for about 3 days with my SGS3
