Among the other presentations, NVIDIA's Louis Belcuore spoke about PhysX and CUDA, while Kingston's Paul Asher explained how the low price of DDR2 memory is slowing adoption of DDR3.

Gigabyte's Rui Pereira talked about their 2oz copper boards, which have caught the eye of at least one of its competitors and Entanet's Paul North described the profit potential for reselling their broadband and VOIP services.

Sticking to the graphics theme, PNY's Nathan Blank spoke about NVIDIA Quadro cards for professionals, including the one specifically designed to optimise Adobe Creative Suite 4.

Meanwhile XFX's Gavin Pitt initiated a discussion about how about Indie retailers can compete in the high-end gaming market against large etailers.

Finally indie retailers Geoff Carr was the owner of the lucky business card to win an XFX GeForce 9800 GX2 card. Here he is receiving it from Caroline Bunclark, NVIDIA's Northern Europe marketing exec.
