The state of the economy

In spite of healthy growth since the company was formed, Cassidy is understandably wary of the state of the global economy. "I think there are going to be more difficult times ahead and things could get worse in the next year," he said. "We're planning for the worst."

This doesn't mean sitting around waiting for the recession to pass, however. Like many businesses these days, C3 is trying to be creative about how he can generate business when the economy is contracting.

"We need to give customers the excuse to buy," said Cassidy. "All-in-one PCs are an important area for us - the standard desktop box is in decline and for the average consumer the all-in-one is where things are headed."

As we said at the start of this article, the technology e-tail market in the UK is already serviced by some very strong and well-established incumbents, so Cassidy has got his work cut out for him to take share away from them.

But especially in the current economic climate, it's good to see a new entrant into the technology channel reporting solid growth, even if the owner is unforgivably young.

Well done to the guy for taking the initiative to take the plunge.

Hopefully he does well out of it, although his website does look nice there are obviously some issues with items and informations displayed…

“Orbit Means business” .. No it doesn't :D

You're right Muddy, £2000 for everything lol They need to get that sorted.

I envy the guy for being in a position to try this, I'm sure a lot of us would like to try it :D I wish the guy all the success.. I'm sceptical about how long it will last but I hope it does :)

orbit means downloading embedded flv's :D

i dont mind these people, i know a lot of our more shamrocky members hate the usual delivery charges of the big UK players, so there is definitely a small but supportive bunch of customers ready for the taking
Are you seriously saying Patrick is “self made”..

What a joke clearly has some “money from his wealthy family”.

The website is very strange, the products do not make sense and most of the stuff listed is not even in stock….
