(ASUS), the worldwide leader of motherboards, today announced the PR-DL(S)533/RACK motherboard specifically designed for 1U and 2U rackmount servers. With a streamline layout for memory slots and the heatsink, the PR-DL(S)/RACK maximizes airflow to provide cooler system operation. The all-new motherboard adopted two PCI-X slots and SCSI or non -SCSI options for excellent scalability and flexibility.



With a streamline layout that has the DIMM slots lined up parallel to system airflow and a specially designed core logic heatsink that enhances ventilation, the PR-DL(S)533/RACK successfully resolved the thermal issue in 1U and 2U rackmount servers.



The PR-DL(S)533/RACK comes equipped with 2 PCI-X slots for superior expandability. One of the PCI-X slots supports a 133MHz clock for performance enthusiasts, while the other supports 1-to-3 PCI-X riser cards for 2U applications.



The PR-DL(S)533/RACK adopted the ServerWorks® GC-LE (CMIC-LE) core logic to support an architecture of dual-Intel® Xeon® on 533MHz for processing power up to 3.2GHz. In addition, the motherboard included flexible input/output interface offering both SCSI and non-SCSI options for different application demands.



For balanced system performance, the PR-DL(S)533/RACK leveraged the Intel 82540 and 82554 Gigabit Ethernet controllers. With the dual LAN controller platform, the PR-DL(S)533/RACK offers exhilarating network performance.
