PRESS RELEASE

11 November 2014: MindLink Mobile, the Enterprise Chat application, is today available on Android devices after MindLink became the first company to bring Persistent Chat via MicrosoftTM Lync to the platform.

The mobile app, which is already accessible to iPhone and Blackberry users, allows workers to coordinate and securely exchange vital business data, in real-time across a company.

MindLink Software, developer of secure, integrated Enterprise Group Chat applications for MicrosoftTM Lync, launched in 2011 with the aim of transforming how employees collaborate and share information to make better, faster decisions.

Key MindLink for Android features:

The Livestream interface on MindLink Mobile brings multiple conversations into one single overview and enables users to prioritise whilst on-the-go by selecting subsets of groups and contacts.

The search function guarantees all past group message history is traceable, while features such as #hashtags, @mentions and critical IM allow users to enjoy the familiarity of traditional consumer chat apps.

Furthermore, advanced filtering and alert options ensure users receive only the most business critical information and notifications whilst on the go, facilitating people's need to work seamlessly and unhindered as they attend external engagements or work remotely.

Joseph Do, CEO of MindLink, comments: "Email is no longer the preferred channel of communication for an increasing number of today's workers, and organisations are recognising the need for change.

"Dedicated BYOD and CYOD strategies are becoming more commonplace in businesses and, on this basis, it is crucial that MindLink Enterprise Chat supports this progression.

"By ensuring access to a dedicated, business critical collaboration tool on smartphones, tablets, and across Android, iOS and Blackberry, employees are now able to communicate effectively in a truly multichannel manner.

"Supportive of Mobile Device Management solutions, MindLink Mobile also provides added security and compliance as well as fully integrating into existing business systems, such as portals, social media and email. Simply put, the platform offers the necessary visibility of information from numerous sources in to one simple, streamlined interface."

MindLink Mobile for Android supports Microsoft OCS 2007 R2, Lync Server 2010 and Lync Server 2013. For more information on MindLink and to sign up for a free trial of MindLink's enterprise chat app, please visit: http://www.mindlinksoft.com/
