Will you refund anyone who claims to have been being charged for membership against their knowledge?
As detailed above Webloyalty publicises its cancellation policy on the offer page and in ongoing communications sent to customers both pre & post bill. In addition, our cancellation policy is on the Shopper Discounts & Rewards website: www.shopperdiscountsandrewards.co.uk.
We immediately cancel membership in the programme for any members who contact Webloyalty requesting this. If a member requires a refund they need to contact our dedicated Customer Service Centre to discuss their membership and request.
How should people go about this?
Members may cancel their Shopper Discounts & Rewards membership via telephone through:
- Calling a free phone customer service telephone number - 0808 234 1539, where we have a customer service department with more than 25 UK based dedicated representatives available 6 days per week (Monday to Friday 8 AM - 8 PM, and Saturdays 9 AM - 4 PM)
- Calling the Customer Service Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system, available 24/7
Members may also cancel via the Shopper Discounts & Rewards website, via email or by post. When responding to cancellation requests, Webloyalty customer service personnel are instructed to not make any effort to persuade consumers to remain a member. Furthermore, Webloyalty customer service representatives are instructed to respond to members requesting a refund by assisting them in processing their request, no questions asked. These procedures are calculated to ensure that no member is compelled to join or to remain a member.
In addition, we have made arrangements to have a billing descriptor for the Shopper Discount & Rewards programmes identified on a member's credit or debit card statement. The billing descriptor includes the programme name and the free phone customer service telephone number.
