Earlier this week, we reported that Overclock.co.uk had ceased trading, since then the domain has been aquired by another operation, and is going to continue serving the community:
"Hi Guys
Yeah it's true, Overclock.co.uk is back, but the domain is now in the hands of JLT Computers LTD, so has both the financial backing and vast range of products to keep the site competitive with the big boys, as well as obviously supplying products which are bespoke to the Overclock tradition!
The site is a quick fix at the moment while we get things rolling again. The downside is previous customers will have to still follow the guidelines set in place for RMA’s, cancelled orders etc as we are not legally responsible for anything prior to 12th September 2007, however we will assist all previous customers where ever possible.
We want to put Overclock.co.uk back on the map, so will be striving to carry on the tradition of supplying the best in overclocking and performance parts.
We have a great infrastructure, great staff, and also the founder of TheCoolingShop.com actively involved in operations, so you can be rest assured that Overclock.co.uk is in the right hands!
Regards
JLT Computers e-Tail Team"
The company has posted the following recommendations on their site:
"We [have] no access to information before 10th September 2007 and would advise customers who have placed orders prior to this date to regard the orders as cancelled. If you have paid for your order and not received goods we would recommend you contact your card provider and make any relevant claims.
If you have a warranty claim on a product purchased before 10th September 2007 we would recommend you contact the manufacturer directly for warranty on their products."
