PRESS RELEASE
myMusic-Bluetooth is a wireless audio link between the most popular mobile devices and home sound systems
Hauppauge Digital Inc. March 4, 2014, London - Hauppauge today announced its new myMusic-Bluetooth wireless music receiver. myMusic-Bluetooth wirelessly connects to Apple and Android smart phones and tablets via Bluetooth and can receive any music content such as Spotify, internet radio and songs from your music library. myMusic-Bluetooth connects to an home audio system though a stereo audio jack.
myMusic-Bluetooth is part of Hauppauge's myWireless family of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connected devices for Apple and Android smartphones and tablets.
myMusic-Bluetooth has embedded NFC (near field communication) to make the setup with NFC equipped mobile devices easy. For example, the Samsung S5 has NFC capability and pairing it with the myMusic-Bluetooth can be done by simply tapping the Samsung S5 to the top of myMusic-Bluetooth. A NFC enabled wireless connection is "tap-and-play" - instant connectivity by tapping the mobile device to myMusic-Bluetooth. Currently, none of the Apple devices support NFC.
myMusic-Bluetooth turns your home audio sound system into a wireless sound system. By connecting your Apple or Android device with myMusic-Bluetooth and a home audio system, you'll enjoy better sound quality than you can get from the built-in speakers. Simply plug the myMusic-Bluetooth receiver into your sound system using the included standard analogue RCA or 3.5 mm jacks, connect myMusic-Bluetooth to your Apple or Android smart phone or tablet via "tap-and-play" NFC or using the standard Bluetooth pairing method, and you will automatically pair with your sound system to your mobile device.myMusic-Bluetooth gives you the freedom to listen to music in your home wirelessly!
"When you connect myMusic-Bluetooth to your Apple or Android device, you get the best of both worlds: exceptional audio quality and the convenience of accessing music stored directly on your mobile device or from your favourite music service," said Ken Plotkin, President of Hauppauge Computer Works.
Designed to be rugged, small and portable, myMusic-Bluetooth sits near your home audio system. A top mounted Play/Pause/Skip button allows you to wirelessly pause music or change tracks on the Apple or Android device, giving you full flexibility to enjoy your favourite music without having to touch the music player.
