Samsung has written to HEXUS about the availability of The Wall Luxury in the UK. In case you missed it, The Wall Luxury was launched globally last week at InfoComm 2019 in Orlando, Florida. It is, as the name suggests, a luxury version of The Wall, Samsung's Micro LED large-format modular display.

The Wall Luxury TC is customisable for your luxury residence in a number of configurations up to 73-inch in 2K definition, or to 292-inch in 8K definition - and whatever you choose it will be just 30mm deep. Its bezel-less appearance might appeal, but if not Samsung has a number of customisable décor frames that allows the display "to blend seamlessly into its surroundings". An Ambient mode helps The Wall Luxury blend into its surroundings when not in use as a TV.

Size isn't everything, some say, and the modular configurable size options aren't all that The Wall Luxury offers. Powered by Samsung's AI picture quality engine, Quantum Processor Flex, scaling will be optimised by the AI for classic movies, sports, or even gaming. The Wall Luxury's Micro LED panels boast Quantum HDR technology (HDR10+) peak brightness of 2,000nits and 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, Samsung has partnered with Harman Luxury Audio and Steinway Lyngdorf for audio solutions; Control4, Crestron and Savant for home automation solutions; and Domotz, Ihiji and OrvC for remote monitoring capabilities.

If you are interested in The Wall Luxury and live in the UK you can enquire directly via a web form on the official product page. Samsung is making 'The Wall Professional' - for large scale displays for luxury flagship stores, to corporate headquarters - available to order in the UK too. I don't have any pricing data for The Wall Luxury in the UK or any other region at the time of writing.

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.
The Independent suggests the 292" version is likely to cost $100,000+, which seems like it might be on the low side…

I wonder how many windscreens I'll have to clean at the lights to afford it?
what's the input lag on this telly?

I have to ask, for insurance purposes.
