Logitech has today revamped its line of multimedia PC speakers with the launch of four new speaker systems, each offering the promise of 360-degree sound.
The new introductions - the Logitech Speaker System Z320, Logitech Speaker System Z323, Logitech Speaker System Z520 (pictured) and the Logitech Speaker System Z523 - differentiate from most PC speakers by housing drivers that face both forward and backward. The result, says Logitech, is a design that will "transmit sound more consistently over a wider range of space so you never miss a beat no matter where you are in the room".
We've yet to hear them in action so we can't comment on the sound, but we reckon they look pretty spiffin'.
Both the Speaker System Z520 and Speaker System Z320 are stereo solutions that provide 26 watts and 10 watts of power, respectively.
The Speaker System Z523 and Speaker System Z323, meanwhile, are both 2.1 solutions that should provide a little more punch and deeper, richer bass. The Z523 comes equipped with a 6.5in down-firing subwoofer and provides a total power output of 40 watts. The slimmed Z523 features a ported, down-firing subwoofer and is capable of delivering 30 watts.
Logitech reckons all four systems will be available in Europe this September. The Logitech Speaker System Z320 will be available for a suggested retail price of €49.99.
