Newer flatscreen TVs and audio equipment are, on the whole, becoming more generously outfitted with HDMI inputs, but you may still face the problem of having too many HDMI-equipped devices and, frankly, not enough inputs.

ATEN reckons it has the solution to your possible digital connectivity problems with its VS481 4-port HDMI switch.

It's HDMI 1.2-certified with HDCP v1.1 support. You can toggle inputs by pressing the buttons on the front panel or via the supplied infrared remote, which has a 10m line-of-sight range.

The VS481 supports of 480p/720p/1080i and 1080p, and PC resolutions of VGA, SVGA, SXGA (1280x1024) and UXGA (1600x1200).

£100 and it's yours.
