Conclusion

Granted, a cue can't work miracles. Practise, practise and more practise is the key to snooker - though, it can't do any harm to be born gifted. Still, the MoJo cue is infinitely better than the free in-house cues available from most snooker halls. If you're serious about your snooker, you'll want to consider a cue of your own.

In addition to potentially improving your game, the MoJo cue will undoubtedly put a big grin on your face when you arrive at a snooker hall with your own sleek cue. Naturally, that bullish grin soon turns to a whimper of a smirk when onlookers come to realise you can barely pot a ball. It's fun whilst it lasts, though.

Snooker as a sport is said to be on the decline. Many would argue that the sport has lost some of its popularity over the past decade, but, put a cue in your hand, start knocking in balls and you soon come to remember what makes the sport so enjoyable. Stringing together a high break through precision-positioning is truly satisfying.

It may just be too late for me, but get down to your local snooker hall and get practising. Who knows, you could be the next Rocket Ronnie.

HEXUS Awards

Is a designer MoJo cue worth the £35.99 asking price? In my estimation, yes. If you plan on playing regularly, it's a perfectly justifiable investment.

Ah, I miss my days of snooker.

I reckon I'll have my old £25 Argos snooker cue back at my parents' house - might dig it out some day.
I see… Tarinder is clearly the favorite with his own custom cue!
