Aurora Watching
First Look: Aurora Watching
Developed by Poland-based Metropolis Software, Aurora Watching is a stealth based FPS utilising the latest RenderWare Physics engine for realistic gameplay and effects.
You play White Fox, a top agent, who is brought back into service after two years of hard combat with a bottle of Vodka. A Russian sub, the Komsomletz II, has suddenly gone down in the area of a mysterious military complex and it’s up to you to find ut what’s going on.
To help you in your mission you’ll have a wide variety of weaponry as well as other paraphenalia designed to help you sneak past the opposition. Everything from silenced pistols, knives and sub-machine guns taken from fallen foes is available for use. And when you’re not fighting, you’ll be using med-kits, a portable computer or distraction devices to help you progress through each level.
The action takes place across several locations, inclusing in and around an iceberg and even in the sub itself. There are two camera modes, one for the actual combat and movement and the other for tactical planning.
AURORA WATCHING will be published in the UK for PC by Enlight Entertainment Software on 29th July 2005, priced £19.99.
