Call of Duty: Black Ops
Platforms - PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii
Release Date - 9 November, 2010

The player assumes the role of various characters during the single-player campaign, changing perspectives throughout the progression of the story. Common soldiers on the battlefield among several allies were often incarnated in Call of Duty. However in this installment, the playable characters are special force operatives conducting black operations (hence the sub-title) behind enemy lines, and thus have more significant roles on the battlefield than their previous counterparts.

Kinect

Release Date - 10 November, 2010

Equipped with a camera, audio sensors and motion-sensing technology, Kinect emits an array of beams that hit objects in its path and bounce back to the device. Using an on-board processor, the device is then able to map an image of everything in its field of view. According to Microsoft, Kinetic is accurate enough to track 48 points of movement on the human body.

Designed to allow users to interact with the Xbox 360 games console through voice or physical gestures, Microsoft will be hoping to widen its appeal to casual gamers, a market currently dominated by the Nintendo Wii. Launch games include Kinect Sports.



Little Big Planet 2

It all begins with a brand new story mode that provides a beautifully reshaped world for Sackboy to explore and play. Each story level is influenced by cultural high points in history and is visually stunning when seen through the game’s revamped graphics engine. Customisation is once again set to be a key feature.

Should be a good few months…

Looking forward to FIFA, Fallout, Gran Turismo, Medal of Honour, CoD, LBP2, NFS, Assassin's Creed, and will probably give Mafia 2 and HAWX 2 a try at some point.
